Priyadarshan is the owner and principal dentist at Porter Brook Dental. Better known as ‘Gaity’ (short for Gaitonde), he has nurtured Porter Brook Dental with a strong input of dedication and commitment to excellence in his work. He has brought together a team of wonderful caring dental professionals who complement the ethos of the practice.
Gaity pursued a 3-year specialization in Oral Surgery, and holds a Master’s Degree, MDS in Oral Surgery, from the University of Bombay prior to obtaining a Fellowship in Dental Surgery FDS RCS, from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He spent invaluable years as a NHS Hospital Dentist working mainly in the Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery Departments in Cardiff, Plymouth, Royal London & Mount Vernon Hospitals, building further on his surgical dentistry skills before moving into General Dental Practice whilst always maintaining his special interest in Oral Surgery.
He further undertook a certificate course in 2004 in Implant Dentistry training at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and has since treated hundreds of patients and placed hundreds of implants till date. He also provides surgical implant placements for fellow dentists at external dental practices. Gaity is committed to advancing his skills on an on-going basis and attends national and international meetings for this to provide cutting-egde dentistry.
Gaity is also an Invisalign Go provider and takes pride in treating anxious and nervous patients.
Pallavi Gaitonde

Pallavi is our In-House Restorative Dental Specialist. She works as a Hospital Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Hull & East Yorkshire NHS Trust where she works in Multi-Disciplinary Head and Neck Oncology and Hypodontia Teams.
Pallavi completed her specialization in 2007, comprising of 5 years of rigorous training at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and is on the GDC Specialist Register for Restorative Dentistry as well as Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics.
Pallavi has over 15 years of experience in treating challenging cases. She works exclusively with a team of like-minded nurses and select top-notch dental technicians who are vital in delivering an excellent result for her patients. Her passion for attention to detail has driven her to achieving a high standard of clinical results. She considers herself fortunate to be among the few who get the opportunity to specialize in their area of interest.
She also provides treatment planning advice for dental practitioners in the region and receives referral requests for treating patients from external dental practices, as well as self-referrals from patients.
Pallavi lectures in the UK and is heavily involved in the training of Dental Foundation Trainees. She also sits on the panel of examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons for the MJDF examinations. Pallavi has an M Phil in BioMaterials, University of Sheffield and has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Her expertise lies in Specialist Services of Endodontics, Periodontics & Periodontal Surgery, Complex Prosthodontics, Full Mouth Rehabilitations including Smile-Make Overs.

Rasa is a proud member of the Porter Brook Dental Team. She has been a valuable member of our team for 9 years and is a product of in-house training at the practice. Rasa began her career right here at Porter Brook Dental and loved the work environment and ethos so much that she decided to stay on.

Maria is our dental therapist. She is a strong advocate for promoting patient overall health and is keen to motivate, educate and support them to maintain good oral hygiene and dental care.
